Intrepid has already raised $400,000 Australian dollars toward recovery efforts in its Nepal Earthquake appeal. It has been donated to the children’s charity Plan International to provide shelter, sanitation and food to more than 120,800 Nepalese people.

The Bahamas and China have signed a memorandum of understanding for air service between the two countries. The move comes months after initial talks led by Prime Minister Perry Christie on the idea. The agreement was signed by Transport Minister Glenys Martin at Christie’s office in Nassau.
