Sandals Resorts International is unveiling new room category names for all accommodation options at Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts. The simplification of the titles of various rooms allows both travel agents and their clients to better understand the resorts’ accommodation options, as well as identify the value and amenities associated with each room category.

BHG S.A., Brazil Hospitality Group announces that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Castelari Construtora Ltda. for the management of a hotel under development in Sao Joao do Meriti, state of Rio de Janeiro, one of Baixada Fluminense region's main municipalities.

Sandals Resorts is inviting guests to indulge in the new exclusive Club Sandals, the most luxurious and elite experience for guests of Concierge level suites in Jamaica. The new club enhances Sandals Resorts’ existing concierge concept with exciting new amenities and services.

Jamaica is planning a “major rehabilitation and upgrading” project this year in the country’s resort areas, including Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Negril and Port Royal. The group of projects will come at a cost of around $12 million USD, funded by the country’s Tourism Enhancement Fund.
