The Hawaii Tourism Authority has scheduled its Third Hawaii Tourism Conference for September 12 to 13 at the Hawaii Convention Center.
The meeting will continue with last year´s theme, “Aloha Aku, Aloha Mai - The Responsibility of Aloha,” and attendants can hear about visitor industry trends, what is happening in the global and local marketplace, and where the 2007 marketing plans are headed.
A great deal of African and international decision-makers from a number of diverse sectors including investors, tour operators, hospitality, transport, engineering, construction, media and culture will meet in Geneva this September to network and explore further areas of cooperation.
On September 10 and 11, key figures and executives in international travel and tourism stakeholders in Africa´s travel & tourism industry will gather to analyze the key factors linked to the growth of this industry.
Health and wellness tourism –one of the industry´s fastest growing sectors worldwide- is a major focus at World Travel Market 2006.

Festivities include a Calabash Exhibition at the Montserrat National Trust; a Calabash Food Fair; Calabash “Nite Lime” where revelers can enjoy a live band featuring local and Caribbean entertainers, and an adventure hike culminating with a Calabash Breakfast.
