TripAdvisor, LLC, has acquired Holiday Watchdog, one of the most well-known user-generated travel sites in the U.K. Holiday Watchdog will continue to be operated as an independent site.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), achieved significant growth in 2007, the company has announced. CWT also reported substantial progress and innovation in its four lines of business. CWT sales volume totaled $25.5 billion for 2007, an increase of 30 percent over 2006.
