Delta Air Lines detailed new plans to expand flights from New York City’s JFK and LaGuardia airports with 12 new daily flights to 11 domestic and Caribbean destinations in spring and summer 2012.
American Airlines, a member of the oneworld alliance, today announced it is expanding its Venezuela service by increasing the number of weekly flights between New York and Caracas.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is calling for better cooperation between airports and airlines to make aviation, safer, more secure and user friendly. “We need a common and forward-looking agenda that builds on past successes,” said Toby Tyler, IATA’s director general and CEO.
