Starting on June 24, 2012, perpetual tourists residing in Guanacaste and the northern zone of Costa Rica will have Panama as a sensible option for a visa run. Copa Airlines will begin flying from the new Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia (LIR) directly to Panama.

JetBlue Airways, Puerto Rico's largest carrier, today launched service to its 12th nonstop destination from San Juan's Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). JetBlue operates up to 18 flights a day from Newark.

In an effort to grow its worldwide outreach, Visit St. Pete/Clearwater (VSPC) has helped secure direct air service from Zurich to Tampa Bay, via Swiss-based Edelweiss Airlines. The flight will be offered once a week---on Fridays---with service ramping up to twice a week over the summer.
