TAM Airlines has started operating a new daily nonstop flight between Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Galeão Airport) and Santiago, Chile. On 2 January 2013, São Paulo will also receive another frequency to the Chilean capital, giving a total of three daily round trip flights. The international routes are operated using A320 aircraft for 156 passengers in all.
