CAL chief executive Michael DiLollo received recommendations from the Tobago Chamber. DiLollo and CAL chairman Philip Marshall met with tourism stakeholders in Tobago to identify solutions to the airbridge issue. Chairman of the Tobago Chamber Diana Haddad said she was happy with CAL’s intervention.

The route, which will have two weekly frequencies, will increase the arrival in Havana of visitors from Switzerland and other nations of Europe, and from the island nation’s capital to other travel destinations in the Caribbean country, experts of the Cuban Tourism Ministry hope.

Miami International Airport will welcome increased service by Mexican flag carrier Aeromexico this fall when the airline adds frequencies to its Mexico City and Merida routes.

Air Europa, the Latin American specialist and Spain’s largest privately owned airline, is launching a new weekly flight to Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The Spanish carrier is the only European airline flying to Bolivia, and from this December 14th, will now fly a total of four times weekly to the South American country, from London Gatwick via Madrid Barajas.
