The United States and Cuba are likely to announce agreements by the end of the year for restoring scheduled airline flights and postal service between the two countries.

JetBlue Airways has launched its premium “Mint” service on flights to Aruba and Barbados. The flights out of New York’s John F Kennedy Airport represent JetBlue’s first international flights with Mint.

According to a statement on the airline's website, the Lufthansa strike has been extended through midnight Friday on all Lufthansa flights to and from Frankfurt, Munich and Dusseldorf.
