Delta Airlines has announced plans to launch new nonstop flights to St. Kitts and Nevis, including a new weekly Saturday flight from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport to St. Kitts, with service beginning Dec. 23, 2017.

Ryanair has announced a new flight partnership with Air Europa, which will allow its 130,000 customers to book Air Europa long haul flights on the Ryanair.com website.

Alaska Airlines has announced that starting August 8, it will once again offer service to Mexico City. The airline first started flying to Mexico’s capital in 2005 but discontinued those flights in 2015.

Volaris is betting that there is ample demand for leisure and business travel between San Antonio and Mexico City as the airline plans to commence daily nonstop service between the two destinations from Sept. 15.

St Lucia is keeping up the rhetorical pressure on the struggling regional carrier LIAT, with the man overseeing the tourism ministry joining Prime Minister Allen Chastanet in calling for competition for the cash-strapped airline.

Canada’s air space will welcome a new player this summer when Interjet introduces service between Montreal and Mexico City.
