Wyndham Hotel Group is planning to launch a local language website, with localized content for Ramada Worldwide brand in Germany by the end of this year.

The initiative follows the launch of its new global websites for both Ramada Worldwide and Days Inn, and simultaneous launch of its new localized websites for both brands in the UK and Ireland.

“Earlier this year, we expanded our EMEA marketing team and hired specialized agencies to support our European marketing activity, particularly in the areas of branding and advertising, loyalty marketing, public relations, online/offline marketing/media buying and on-line content management,” said Daniel del Loom, vice president for International, Marketing and Strategy at Wyndham Hotel Group.

The Ramada Worldwide system consists of nearly 900 properties in over 30 countries, and Days Inn has over 1800 properties in 14 countries. And while Ramada Worldwide has a broader distribution across Europe, with 140 properties in 13 markets, Days Inn’s European presence is concentrated primarily in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

For 2007, the company’s online marketing strategy will be focused on driving business to its new websites in the UK, Ireland and Germany, all of which are markets that enjoy high internet penetration.
