Vueling Carried 908,854 Passengers in April

Vueling, Spain’s new-generation airline, carried 908,854 passengers in April, up 86.4 percent year on year. The increase in volume reflects the merger with clickair during July 2009. The lower level of occupancy in April from the previous year (-2.1 percentage points) was due to an earlier Easter break this year.

However, without taking the Easter dates into account and adding March and April data, Vueling occupancy levels improved by 1.7 percentage points, from 72.4 percent in 2009 to 74.1 percent in 2010.
