Voyages of Discovery Announces Fuel Surcharge

Voyages of Discovery has implemented a fuel surcharge of $10 per person, per cruise night. It will apply to all bookings with embarkation dates from February 1 to April 26. The surcharge is less than half of the increased costs, the company said.

The affected cruises are among the highest in fuel operating costs. No decision has been made on summer 2008 itineraries. Voyages of Discovery is a destination specialist that operates cruise-tours to Antarctica, South America, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Red Sea, Africa and India.
