Virgin Atlantic Announces Service to Chile
Virgin Atlantic Airways announced that it plans to launch a spicy nonstop service between London Heathrow and Chile. The capital, Santiago will become Virgin Atlantic’s 31st destination worldwide and the gateway to South America; as the world’s leading long haul airline celebrates its “red-hot” 25th birthday this year.
New, additional services onboard the service will include: Spanish-speaking cabin crew and a dedicated South American menu with Chili Con Carne and selection of Chilean wines. Premium Economy and Upper Class passengers will also receive an exclusive red hot amenity kit with after dinner mints to soothe after the spicy meal.
In addition to the popular sleep suit, Upper Class passengers will receive a red fleece in case they get chilly on arrival. Virgin Atlantic operates to 30 destinations worldwide and has carried over 65 million passengers since its inaugural flight to Newark on the 22nd June 1984.
