Virgin America Finalizes Switch to New Reservations Platform

Virgin America has completed its switch to a new reservations platform and short-term there will be some inconveniences. It is having some problems with web bookings and online check-in; some users are encountering errors when trying to complete bookings on virginamerica.com or check-in online.

In addition, as the airline completes the changeover, flight status on its website is not showing accurate flight time information and Virgin America recommends that passengers stay up-to-date on flight schedules during this time by visiting www.flightview.com.

Even though it has added staff, its Call Center is currently experiencing a high call volume and longer than usual hold times. Guests are temporarily unable to make changes or cancellations through virginamerica.com.

If you need to change or cancel a flight, call Virgin America at 877-359-8474. Future Flights function is temporarily unavailable. However, guests are able to locate future flights by clicking View Itinerary and searching using either confirmation number.
