UNWTO Picks Cendant Expert as Chairman of Affiliate Members

Carlos Vogeler, vice president of Cendant Leisure Real Estate Solutions (CLRES), was elected UNWTO chairman of affiliate members at the recent 16th General Assembly of the UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) held recently in Senegal´s Dakar.

As chairman, Mr. Vogeler´s key objective will be to strengthen the links between public and private sectors within the world tourism industry.

Mr. Vogeler has spent most of his professional life working within the tourism industry and has worked with the UNWTO since 1992.
