Universal is ready to take off

Universal, the brand-new Colombian airline, will go up, up and away next Dec. 20 with initial bases in 11 major cities of the Andean country and a fleet of five Airbus A-319 planes.

The first routes will serve such cities as Medellin, Cali, San Andres, Pereira and Bogota. Former Secretary of Culture and Tourism for Medellin, Alba Suarez Bustamante, has been appointed general manageress of the newly founded enterprise.
