UAIR Flying to Santiago de Chile Thrice a Week
Uruguay´s UAIR has been flying regularly to Santiago de Chile every Monday, Wednesday and Friday since last March.
Execs from the Uruguayan air carrier explained the increasingly bigger demand from Rio de la Plata in recent years prompted them to turn to Santiago de Chile as their new choice.
Santiago de Chile has become a major aviation hub in Latin America, let alone an important travel, financial and trade center. Great hotels, restaurants and superb services are luring thousands of travelers from around the world every year.
The Montevideo-based air company has been up in the air since late 2003 and is currently providing regular flights to ten of the region´s major cities: Buenos Aires, Punta del Este, San Pablo, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Florianopolis, Rosario, Cordoba, Montevideo and Santiago de Chile, with plans of reaching to Asuncion and Rio de Janeiro in the near future.
