Two New Executives at Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (RCCL) has created separate presidency posts for its Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises brands, appointing Adam Goldstein president of Royal Caribbean and Dan Hanrahan president of Celebrity. The two will report to Jack Williams, who will take the title of RCCL president and COO.

The company´s split of Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, which were merged after the company bought Celebrity in 1998, began in 2002 when it created brand-specific district sales managers (DSMs) for its top-producing brands. That was followed with brand-specific DSMs in 2004, Travel Weekly recalls.
