Turnberry Isle Miami Names Douglas Hustad Managing Director

Turnberry Hotel Group appointed Douglas Hustad as managing director of Turnberry Isle Miami. He will lead all aspects of the 300-acre resort and golf club’s operations. For the past seven years, Hustad was vice president/general manager of The Inn on Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C.

While there he managed hotel operations and product development. Hustad previously served in various management positions at several Ritz-Carlton properties and The Peabody Memphis Hotel. He began his career with Stouffer hotels.
