TUI North America Rebrands Trek Escapes as Adventure Center

TUI North American Distribution combined two of its brands, Trek Escapes and Adventure Center, into one under the name Adventure Center. The company’s name, with a new look and logo, will appear on signage and materials and a new website that will go live later in the year with enhanced functionality and an expanded product portfolio. Trek Escapes, a Canadian company, will join its American sister company, Adventure Center but will maintain its offices in Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver and will continue to serve clients through multiple channels — phone, email and walk-in.

Trek Escapes began operating in 1972 in Canada and claims to be Canada’s longest established adventure tour operator. It offers more than 2,000 special experience holidays in more than 140 countries. Holidays cater to all ages, fitness levels and budgets. Their brands include Exodus, Peregrine, Geckos, Quark, Country Walkers, Zegrahm, International Expeditions and Trek sub-brand Africa in Style.

Adventure Center is owned by TUI Travel PLC, one of the world’s largest travel conglomerates operating in about 180 countries. Founded in 1976, Adventure Center offers more than 2,000 adventure trips on seven continents. The company’s offerings range from African safaris, riding a camel in Egypt, biking in Provence, walking in Tuscany, riding the Trans-Siberian railway or coming face-to-face with penguins in Antarctica.
