Travelscope Expands Regional Cruising

Travelscope, an independent operator which uses three ships for ex-UK cruising, is to run five departures from the Humber port this year against one sailing in 2005.

The vessel Funchal will offer sailings to the Baltic, St Petersburg, the Norwegian Fjords and a round Britain itinerary from Hull.

Departures to Iceland and Greenland are to be added in 2007 after three of the five Hull cruises sold out.

Travelscope is to run cruises from 10 ports in the UK and Ireland this year, including Falmouth, Tilbury, Harwich, Swansea, Mostyn, Dundee, Greenock, Larne and Dublin. The company offers either free coach travel to connect with ship departures or free car parking at ports.
