Tourism to Grenada, Tampa Boosted by Extra Flights
A new Virgin Atlantic direct service to Grenada, will give another tourism boost to the Caribbean Island. Although the Monday and Thursday direct flight service doesn’t start until 31 October, fly to let holiday home customers can start booking now if they wish. The new flights will create a total of five UK departures from London Gatwick to Grenada each week with BA flights on Sunday and Tuesday and Monarch Airlines on Wednesday.
Grenada Board of Tourism General Manager UK & Ireland, Sharon Bernstein said: “Gone are the days of rigid seven or 14 night holidays and the addition of another Virgin flight means Grenada provides UK travelers with greater flexibility such as 10-night packages.”
Tampa in the USA is also to get more flights from the UK which property experts say is good news for those who already have holiday homes in the sunshine state and prospective buyers.
British Airways is set to increase its frequency of transatlantic flights from London Gatwick to Tampa, Florida to a daily service due to client demand. Property investment agency, Property Frontiers, say the new Virgin and British Airways flights will offer holiday home owners and their fly to let customers more flexibility.
The company is marketing the Caribbean Residences at Bacolet Bay Resort & Spa where fly to let investors can purchase a property from as little as £26,700. This low cost investment in a 5 star resort will generate a guaranteed 10 percent net income and offers good capital appreciation.
In Tampa, Property Frontiers is promoting Davenport, Regal Palms, which it says is receiving serious interest from British buyers who have been snapping up the three and four bedroom fully furnished townhouses from $99,000. The just released high quality properties are located 10 miles from Walt Disney World and 19 miles from SeaWorld.
Regal Palms has a two acre swimming pool complex complete with lazy river, waterslides and sundeck making them ideal family holiday homes. There is an onsite rental management company in place.
