Tourism Cares for Tomorrow to Hold Induction Ceremony in May

Tourism Cares for Tomorrow will induct Bob Dickinson, president and CEO of Carnival Cruise Lines, and the late Dave Herren, a former executive vice president of the Mark Travel Corp., into its Hall of Fame.

Tourism Cares is an organization that works to preserve natural and cultural resources and promote research and education in the travel industry.

Mr. Dickinson was honored for his work with the United Way of Miami Dade, the National Foundation for Advancement of the Arts, Florida International University and the St. Thomas University board of trustees.

Mr. Herren, a long-time United Airlines employee before he became a consultant to Mark Travel, was a trustee and chairman of the National Tour Foundation, a predecessor of Tourism Cares.

The induction ceremony will take place on May 11 at the Westin Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.
