The Cozumel Tourism Promotion Trusteeship, teamed up with Mexicana de Aviacion and Aerocaribe, offered a breakfast at a well-known restaurant of the Mexican capital that was attended by approximately fifty journalists from the turf and overseas. The main reason for the treat was the announcement of a new commercial alliance entitled “Cozumel: the Island of Children.”

The promotional initiative –the third of its kind held on the island in as any years to target local tourists- will expire on December 17.

”This is a magnificent opportunity for all Mexican families to enjoy unforgettable vacations in Cozumel because all kids under twelve years of age will travel absolutely free,” explained Javier Aranda, director-general of the Cozumel Tourism Promotion Trusteeship.

”Come on over and have fun with your parents on the plane, in the hotels and on the island´s major attractions. It´s all absolutely free,” Mr. Aranda went on to say. For every adult buying an APT (All Paid Travel) plane ticket to fly on Mexicana de Aviacion, he or she will be entitled to take a child under 12 years of age in tow.

Visits to the Cozumel Parks & Museum Foundation, the Chankanaab Park, the Punta Sur Ecological Park, the Museum of the Island and the San Gervasio Park are some of the allures awaiting kids upon arriving in the island.
