Tourism Australia Bids Steve Irwin Farewell

Tourism Australia is making it possible for retailers and consumers to send messages of condolence to the family and colleagues of Steve Irwin, who died last weekend.

Mr. Irwin had spent the past several years sharing his love of Australia with potential travelers ans teaching people in general about outback wonders in Down Under.

“He was the bright, passionate face of Australia,” says Michael Londregan, Tourism Australia´s vice president the Americas. “People, particularly here in the U.S., saw in him what they most loved about our country.”
