TourCrafters Offers Early Booking Savings on Spain Programs

TourCrafters is offering an eight-day/seven-night Madrid and Bilbao package for $1,099 that includes roundtrip air fare from New York and Boston on Alitalia, airline fuel surcharges, four overnights at the three-star Hotel Tryp Washington in Madrid, three overnights at the three-star Hotel NH Deusto in Bilbao (with the possibility to extend for one night free of charge), daily breakfast, a four-day car rental, hotel taxes and service. The package is valid only from March 25 to 31.

Though the three-star hotels designated in the package are very comfortable and in good locations, there are options for upgrading. Four nights at the four-star Hotel Emperador in Madrid plus three nights at the four-star Villa de Bilbao plus breakfasts, car rental and air fare costs $1,275.

The same deal at the five-star Hotel Melia Princesa and Villa de Bilbao costs $1,290. And, most amazing, there’s even a bargain at Madrid’s legendary and luxurious Hotel Ritz –$1,399 buys three nights at the five-star Ritz and three nights at the Villa de Bilbao with breakfasts, car rental and air fare. The Ritz package is valid from March 25 to April 4.

In Bilbao, travelers will have a chance to see the city’s architectural wonders, including Frank Gehry’s Guggenheim Museum; drive around the Rioja wine country, stopping for tours and tastings; or even zip over to San Sebastian or Santander.

And in Madrid, museums galore –including the famous Prado- await, as well as shopping and dining options. The air fare add-on from Chicago is $75. All prices are per person double occupancy, are subject to availability and do not include airport taxes. Reservations must be paid for within 72 hours of booking.
