Top Magazine Picks Chile´s Ritz-Carlton as Latin America´s Best Hotel

Condé Nast Traveler, the prestigious travel magazine, has just chosen the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Chile as the best Latin American lodging in 2005. The British bimonthly publication is considered one of the world´s best specialized magazines.

The establishment tops the ranking in the best design category with 100 points, beating Peru´s Monasterio del Cusco Hotel that finished second with 96.4 points.

Condé Nast Traveler targets deluxe travelers and for this hotel, that´s been operating only a year and seven months ago, such a place in the ranking is a great honor, said James Hughes, the hotel´s general manager.
