Three More Mexican Resorts Offer Flu Guarantee
Three additional all-inclusive resort brands, including Karisma Hotels & Resorts, Palace Resorts and Real Resorts, have joined AMResorts, including Secrets Resorts & Spas and Dreams Resorts & Spas, in offering a “Flu-Free Guarantee.”
AMResorts announced its flu-free promise earlier this week, promising any guests who contracts Influenza A-H1N1 while staying at these resorts their next three vacations will be free of charge.
To take advantage of the guarantee, guests must be qualified as Influenza A-H1N1. Positive blood results in addition to certification of the doctor who performed the test are required. The offer applies to guests that booked May 8, 2009, through June 30, 2009, for travel taking place May 8, 2009, through Dec. 20, 2009.
The offer is valid for same vacation (land only) to return once per year over the next three years and only for the original traveler plus one companion. Black-out dates and restrictions apply and the offer is applicable to Secrets and Dreams Resorts & Spas only.
Like AMResorts’ various properties, these other three brands have had no cases of influenza reported at any of their resorts and to demonstrate that they are equally as confident as AMResorts that guests will continue to remain healthy while vacationing at any of these Mexico resorts, Karisma Hotels & Resorts, Palace Resorts and Real Resorts are offering the same Flu-Free Guarantee.
As of May 13, Travel Pulse has been told that the parameters and criteria of the other brands’ guarantee will be exactly the same as that of AMResorts. There is also a possibility that another Mexico all-inclusive resort brand will be joining the flu-free promise.
