A jam-packed flight from Miami to Cancun will carry passengers under one condition: travelers won’t need to have any clothes on, yet they ought to behave themselves. A travel agency based in Houston is getting a toehold of a vacation package in which clothes are optional and might as well turn out to be the first nudist flight in history.

Castaways has chartered a Boeing 727 seating 170 passengers scheduled to take off on May 3rd and fly back on the 10th. However, likelihood is those passengers will be light on luggage.

Many of them will stay at El Dorado Resort & Spa that has saved its 175 rooms for nude vacationers. More than half of the plane’s seats and the hotel’s rooms have already been booked, said Mr. Bailey, who would join the naked entourage along with his wife.

The aircraft’s crew members will have their uniforms on and passengers will wear their clothes during both ticket check and takeoff.

As the plane reaches a certain altitude, passengers could take their clothes off, Mr. Bailey added. Each and every one of them will be handed a beach towel to sit on.

Since temps inside the planes are sometimes low, the crew will regulate it for passengers to feel comfy enough. And no hot food or drinks will be served onboard to avoid any painful spill.

Castaways is charging $499 for the round-trip tickets plus taxes. Mr. Bailey refused to reveal the tour operator’s name citing worries over passengers’ privacy. For the time being, Castaways is using the term Naked Air to put its flight on the market.
