SuperClubs, a collection of all-inclusive resort properties, announced plans for its second property in Brazil, the Starfish Santa Luzia. Located on the island of Santa Luzia in Sergipe, the 203-room property is slated to open its doors later this year and will feature three restaurants, a spa and children’s center.

The property also will have conference facilities and catering space for up to 1,600 people. Earlier this year, SuperClubs began the groundwork on its 330-room Breezes Buzios Resort in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

The company’s Executive Chairman, John Issa, said this second property reflects client demand. “Latin America, and particularly Brazil, is a booming destination for us, and one that has become increasingly popular among North Americans,” he said.
