St. Maarten’s Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino Launches Promotion on Heels of New U.S. Tax Incentive

St. Maarten’s premier convention site, Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino, is making group events better than ever. The resort will now offer a $200 per room credit upon check-out with the “In Your Pocket” promotion. U.S. companies will also enjoy a new tax incentive.

The “In Your Pocket” offer was designed to defray airfare costs to one of the Caribbean’s most impressive, exciting convention destinations. This joins the recent announcement from the United States and Netherlands Antilles. For meetings held in St. Maarten, U.S. companies now receive the same tax benefits as those held in the states.

Sonesta Maho’s “In Your Pocket” offer is valid for travel from May 1, 2007 to December 1, 2008. Bookings must be made between May 1 and June 30, 2007. Group rates start at $180 per room, per night based on double occupancy for blocks of 10 or more rooms. A five-night minimum stay is required. Existing bookings are not applicable and black out dates do apply.
