St. Lucia Names Lorne Theophilus New Tourism Minister

St. Lucia has named Lorne Theophilus its new minister of tourism, heritage and creative industries. Theophilus, a member of St. Lucia’s parliament, was appointed following the swearing-in of the country’s newly elected cabinet, which is led by Kenny Anthony, the country’s prime minister.

Theophilus is an attorney who has worked on previous St. Lucia Tourist Board (SLTB) projects on a volunteer basis, said Louis Lewis, SLTB’s director.
