Spirit Airlines Touts $9 Airfare from Detroit to Jamaica

People living in downtown Detroit can soon board a plane and head to the tropics for less than ten bucks.
Spirit Airlines is offering a special deal that lets Detroiters fly to Jamaica for $9 each way. Would-be travelers have been entitled to book their flights since November 7 and travel dates must be between November 10 and December 14.
There is a small catch, however. Taxes and other fees will add about $90 for to the price.
