Spirit Airlines Starts Flights to Turks & Caicos

Spirit Airlines is launching daily nonstop service to Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands from Fort Lauderdale.

The service will have connecting services from Atlanta, Atlantic City, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, New York/LaGuardia, Orlando, Providence, Tampa and Washington D.C./Reagan National.

The inaugural flight will be served by “The Spirit of Turks and Caicos Islands”, a new Airbus A319 aircraft dedicated to Turks and Caicos. Spirit´s Airbus A319 seats 138 passengers, eight in Spirit Plus Business Class and 130 in comfortable Coach class.

In addition to offering two-class service, Spirit´s Airbus A319 is equipped with all leather seats throughout the cabin.

Spirit will commemorate its inaugural flight with refreshments, giveaways and live music at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport as well as a water salute and media event upon arrival in Providenciales.
