Spirit Airlines Announces Service to Colombia’s Barranquilla

Spirit Airlines announced that it is further expanding its network of ultra low fares throughout the country of Colombia with the introduction of non-stop service between Fort Lauderdale and Barranquilla starting July 29. Barranquilla is located at the mouth of the Magdalena River on the Caribbean coast of Colombia and boasts a year-round tropical climate.

Spirit is launching the new service to Barranquilla with $9 introductory fares (each way based on round-trip purchase) available through Saturday. Barranquilla marks the fifth Colombian destination Spirit serves, and the carrier will serve more cities in Colombia than any other U.S. carrier.
