Sofitel Creates Agent Advisory Board

As part of an effort to strengthen its relationship with the travel trade, Sofitel has established a North American Travel Agent Advisory Board (TAAB), assembled from owners and executives of top-producing travel agencies.

The board includes Priscilla Alexander, Jennifer Wilson, Valerie Wilson, Martin Rapp, Jim Strong, Lake Forrest and Nina Myer, among other members.

Sofitel, a luxury hotel brand owned by Accor, aims to increase brand awareness in the U.S. and increase the number of Sofitel hotels participating in luxury consortia programs.

TAAB board members have two-year terms and will meet twice during the first year (U.S. and overseas locations) and once during the second year. The board met in March at the Sofitel Lafayette Square in Washington.
