Shakeups in TUI Agencies

Michael Tenzer will take over June 1 as spokesman and delegate of Airtours International, a company owned by TUI, the German tour operator specialized in Premium and tailor-made trips. Mr. Tenzer is replacing Fred Lod Tig, 64, who’s retiring after twelve years at the helm of the group.

Before this appointment, Mr. Tenzer was serving as chief of TUI’s Southeast Region for Club and Special Programs. Prior to that, he had led Terramar Travel Agency. Ingo Burmester will fill in Mr. Tenzer’s shoes in Hanover. Mrs. Burmester, an economist with a Ph. D. degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Hanover University, was serving a stint as chief of strategy and flight planning for TUI Germany.
