Shakeups in Cubana’s offices

Earlier in September, Sandra Balladares replaced Humberto Paneque as head of the Buenos Aires-based General Manager’s Office of Cubana de Aviacion for the American Southern Cone (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile). Mrs. Balladares wants to give this office the necessary thrust in an effort to meet the expectations generated once again by a roaring Argentine market.

Mrs. Balladares explained she’ll soon lay out the company’s immediate goals that include an all-out remodeling of the IL-62M aircraft cockpit and passenger cabins currently outfitted with TV, headphones and cheaper first-class seats. Flight schedules will also be reshuffled, the executive pointed out.
