Seminal on Tourism Comes to a Close in Ecuador

The lovely city of Guayaquil, in Ecuador, was home last week to an international seminar entitled “Tourism & Struggle Against Poverty in the Andean Community,” an event organized by the country´s Tourism Ministry and the World Tourism Organization (WTO).

The seminar was attended by representatives from Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela and the host nation.

According to Ecuadorian tourism officials, the seminar was aimed at travel professionals and businesspeople committed to the advance of sustainable tourism as an alternative to combat poverty and reap bigger gains.
