In a conversation with the provincial TV station, the Director of the Provincial Company of Special Gastronomic Services, Yosvany Lacret, said: "We have been applying this market concept in the city for a while and it’s been successful so far. Although it’s not new, the people of Santiago were asking for the revitalization of this kind of specialized market, since they know where to go when they want to buy certain products"; and he referred to different stores specialized in selling rum, spices, eastern prú, oysters, among many others.

The house of honey has been named “The Beehive” and commercializes the nutritive product that can be acquired in different bottle formats, so it’s very affordable for all the people. The premises' walls are decked out with posters that give clients information on the chemical composition of honey and its nutritional value and medical properties.

“The Beehive” is part of the territory’s ideal markets network and its product will be market in the rest of the provincial municipalities.
