Sabre’s Technology Summit in Mexico Unveils Latest Innovations for Latin American, Caribbean Travel Industry

Sabre Travel Network, a global technology company serving travel suppliers and agencies, kicked off a new edition of its regional conference on technology innovations for the global travel industry.

Sabre’s Technology Summit in Mexico, an established business-to-business meeting in Latin America and Caribbean region, provided a forum for travel industry leaders and technology experts to share the latest industry trends on travel. Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism Gloria Guevara Manzo delivered a keynote speech on SECTUR strategy about Public Sector creating opportunities in travel.

The conference also showcased solutions to equip agencies and corporations with innovative technology to manage travel in today’s dynamic industry.

Among the solutions presented, the most talked-about innovations were the Sabre Red Workspace and award-winning online marketplace Sabre Red App Centre used by agencies to shop, book and manage travel, the latest graphical view capabilities, and its web and mobile services.

In addition, there was much excitement about the imminent rollout of TripCase, Sabre’s newest mobile app for travelers which integrates travel itinerary, travel tools and real time travel services.

Sabre Travel Network provides technology to the travel industry. It operates the world’s largest travel marketplace, connecting travel buyers and sellers through the Sabre global distribution system (GDS).

Its innovative technology connects 350,000 travel agents to more than 400 airlines, 100,000 hotels, 25 car rental brands, 50 rail providers, 14 cruise lines and other global travel suppliers. More than $100 billion of travel is purchased through this channel annually.
