Royal Caribbean Sets Reorganization of Sales Team
Royal Caribbean International recently reorganized its sales team and the promoted executives in a move to better serve its travel partners. Ken Muskat has been appointed vice president-sales for Royal Caribbean International.
In his new role, he is responsible for consolidating the cruise line’s distribution strategy and overseeing various teams, including the field sales organization throughout the U.S. and Canada, inside sales, special events and sales communications.
Mr. Muskat has been with the company since 1995 and most recently served as regional vice president-sales. Prior to that, he worked in Royal Caribbean’s marketing organization as part of the team that launched the “Get Out There” brand campaign.
Magnus Wrahme has been promoted to associate vice president-national accounts and international sales. Mr. Wrahme will manage the line’s national accounts and direct the global distribution strategy, playing a key role in the globalization of the brand.
Also as part of the sales reorganization, Juan Silva has been promoted to director of e-distribution strategy and development. Mr. Silva has been with Royal Caribbean for 17 years holding various positions in the marketing automation department. He was responsible for developing new electronic booking tools for the cruise line as well as its award-winning dedicated travel agent website, www.CruisingPower.com.
