Royal Caribbean Offers 50 Percent off Second Guest for 2015-16 Sailings
The new BOGO offer comes on the heels of Norwegian Cruise Line’s similar deal to buy one cruise and get a second, shorter cruise later. Royal Caribbean obviously agrees with Norwegian that BOGO offers strike a chord with consumers, although its offer is good for half-price fares for the second passenger in the same stateroom. Still, it undoubtedly will draw attention from vacationers seeking a great deal. - Theresa Norton Masek, TravelPulse cruise editor
Vacationers can find the best value and the widest stateroom selection when booking a cruise early. With Royal Caribbean International’s “Buy One, Get One 50 Percent Off” promotion, vacationers can enjoy even greater value when they book a cruise that sets sail in 2015 and forward.
Guests will sail aboard the industry’s most innovative ships that offer an expansive array of exciting itineraries around the world.
From May 1 through 31, 2014, U.S. and Canadian vacationers will receive 50 percent savings off of the cruise fare for the second guest, booked in the same stateroom with a full-fare guest.
The offer applies to new individual and named group bookings in all stateroom categories and sailings departing between January 1, 2015 and April 30, 2016, and excludes Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas, as well as third and additional guests.
