Royal Caribbean’s Mariner Heads for Brazil in Spring 2011
Royal Caribbean International’s Mariner of the Seas will operate a short Brazil season beginning Feb. 15. It will offer four roundtrip sailings from Sao Paulo (Santos) on a six-night itinerary -- the March 5 voyage coinciding with Brazil’s Carnival celebrations -- featuring a call at Rio de Janeiro and an overnight at Salvador De Bahia.
A two-night roundtrip departing March 11 also calls at Rio de Janeiro. Mariner of the Seas will then depart for Rome on March 13 for a 14-night trans-Atlantic itinerary via the Canary Islands. It will be one of 11 Royal Caribbean ships in European waters in 2011.
