RIU Picked the World´s Best Leisure Hotel Chain in Great Britain

Spanish hotel chain´s RIU has just won one of Europe´s major tourism awards in Great Britain: the Travel Weekly Globe Award for the Best Leisure Hotel Chain.

The prize was awarded during a ceremony at Governor House Hotel in London this week in front of more than 1,800 professionals from the tourism sector, including its top representatives.

The award was decided by the votes of British travel agent readers of Travel Weekly, which has a circulation of 25,000 copies and is considered the sector´s most influential magazine.

The prestigious award was accepted by Paul Bunce, RIU´s representative in the British market.

RIU Hotels & Resorts is the 26th largest hotel chain in the world, with 109 hotels in 18 countries, and is considered one of the major international leisure hotel brands.
