RIU Palace Aruba on Palm Beach to Open on July 20

Spain-based RIU Hotels & Resorts is anticipating the grand opening of its first resort ever on the island of Aruba on July 20.
The $120 million, 450-room, all-inclusive RIU Palace Aruba on Palm Beach will feature five specialty restaurants, four bars, a casino, two pools and Jacuzzis, a fitness center and spa and two conference rooms.
Accommodations include a mix of guestrooms and suites set in two 10-story buildings and one eight-story building facing the beach.
Special introductory rates from $139 per person, per night, double, are in effect though August 21. A variety of packages for families, weddings, incentive groups and couples also will be offered. All rates cover live entertainment, use of all water sports equipment and taxes and tips.
