Singer Rihanna has been signed by Barbados tourism as their brand ambassador. Rihanna will now promote Barbados tourism around the world for the next three years.

Rihanna who originally hails from Barbados is quite happy to become face of Barbados tourism. Rihanna is a global music sensation and will definitely help Barbados attract more tourists than ever before.

The deal has come at a time when Caribbean tourism is struggling to attract tourists. High air passenger duty by UK has been a major worry for Caribbean nations.

The 3 year marketing deal with the R&B singer Rihanna will help Barbados get a much needed tourism boost. The Barbados tourism authority is quite delighted and said that Barbados is thrilled to have Rihanna as tourism ambassador. She is national pride for Barbados.
