Reyson Pimentel Appointed to the Board of the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association
Travel industry veteran Reyson Pimentel was recently named the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) regional vice president for the Central Caribbean. Mr. Pimentel, who is also Caribbean Director of Sales & Marketing for Hotetur and BlueBay Hotels & Resorts, recently attended the Annual Caribbean Tourism Summit in Washington, D.C.
The Summit brought together Caribbean ministers of tourism and key hotel sector executives to the forefront of the attractive Washington, D.C. travel market and policy makers. Also on the board are former president of the National Hotel & Restaurant Association (Asonahores), Enrique de Marchena and Haydee Rainieri of the Puntacana Group.
Reyson Pimentel has decades of experience in the Caribbean with executive roles within Casa de Campo, Sun Village Resorts, Coral Hotels & Resorts and T&MG, his own travel marketing consultancy group which implemented successful sales and marketing programs for Cap Cana, the Caribbean Traveling Network (CTN) and Caribbean Lifestyle amongst others. He also helped in the creation of the Dominican Republic Chapter for the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), where he served as its president for four years.
