RCCL Names Dominic Paul Vice President for UK, Ireland

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. named Dominic Paul its new vice president and managing director for the U.K. and Ireland. Currently chief operating officer at Heathrow’s second-biggest airline, bmi, Paul will join RCCL in September.

Paul’s career in business development and operational growth includes national and international executive and board level posts within British Airways, Go Fly, easyJet and bmi. He began his career on the British Airways graduate management program in 1993. He went on to be part of the start-up team that grew and sold Go Fly Ltd. to easyJet.

Reporting directly to Bayley, Paul will be based in the Weybridge office, the U.K. and Ireland headquarters of RCCL, and will lead a team of 300. In addition, Paul will take on the business management of Royal Caribbean International’s Independence of the Seas, the year-round ship dedicated to the U.K. and Ireland markets.
